Promote Pride in our Communities and Local Merchants in Wheeler County
The experiences and hardships after this past year have the communities in Wheeler County joining efforts to spread awareness on the importance of supporting the local businesses that make up the fabric of Wheeler County.
Local retailers, merchants and artisans are encouraged to participate by decorating the fronts of businesses, adding displays in the large windows and other efforts of showing spirit. The local chambers are working to pull together a map that will show case residential and commercial Christmas Displays that will create a unique experience for everyone to enjoy. If you would like to be added to the map, please contact the Shamrock or Wheeler Chamber of Commerce Directors (Crystal 806.256.2516 or Kristen 806.367.0084 or chamber@wheelertexas.org) We are also working to help match our local talents with local opportunities. We are hoping we can have window displays, windows painted and much more, if property owners are willing to work with us, please contact us.
The Chambers are working with local merchants to help advertise all the different types of merchandise and gift ideas available in our county. Along with promoting the National “Shop Small Saturday” that will be held on Saturday, November 27th.
The Shamrock and Wheeler Chamber of Commerce Executive Directors are excited to work together to bring not only a unique experience for our residents but also create a fun environment similar to those beloved Hallmark movies. Wheeler Chamber Director, Kristen Moudy, states “By working together with local artists, decorators and property owners, we truly believe we can create magic this season!”.
