The Wheeler Sports organization, in partnership with The Panhandle Gives campaign, is excited to announce a series of commUNITY events this holiday season to raise funds for continued enhancements to Tom Britt Memorial Park. This year’s theme and tagline, “The Time is NOW: Celebrating our legacy, funding our future!”  highlights Wheeler’s proud history, while building toward a brighter tomorrow.

What started as a slow walk has turned into a full-speed marathon! The beauty of Wheeler, Texas continues to grow each year thanks to the dedication of community members like Chalone Hefley, whose work on downtown planters and mural projects with Mandy Lujan of I.D Creative has transformed these efforts into something bigger than a project—it’s truly a community movement.
